- ​For Senior Residents: Candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.
- ​For Junior Residents: Candidates must have an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college. Must have completed a compulsory rotating internship.
- ​Registration: All candidates must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- ​The age limit for Senior Residents is generally up to 45 years.
- ​The age limit for Junior Residents is usually up to 30–33 years.
- ​(Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates is applicable as per Government of India rules).
- ​Senior Resident Salary: Approximately ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 (Pay Level 11) + NPA and other allowances.
- ​Junior Resident Salary: Approximately ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (Pay Level 10) + NPA and other allowances.
- ​Document Verification: Upon arrival, your original certificates will be checked against your photocopies.
- ​Personal Interview: A panel of expert doctors and administrators will conduct the interview. You will be questioned on your clinical knowledge, case-handling skills, and your academic background.
